Maya Cross-Killingsworth - Undergraduate Researcher

Picture
B.S. Microbiology, University of Arizona, 2016.

Maya is currently a graduate student in Laboratory Medicine at University of Washington.

I am an undergraduate researcher who joined the lab in August 2015. I am a Microbiology major, with a minor in Biochemistry. My work in the lab is general – I assist with a variety of projects, as well as with organization and data management.

I am originally from the Pacific Northwest. Outside of lab work, I like to go hiking, do yoga and martial arts, and make bad puns. My favorite color is grey, my favorite country is Scotland, and my favorite replicative pseudo-organism is the virus.
