Ingrid Peterson - Undergraduate Researcher

Picture

I am an undergraduate lab member who joined the lab in January 2016.  I am a Biology major with a subject focus in biomedical sciences as well as a minor in Spanish.  My work in the lab is focused on cultivation and maintenance of research plants, as well as periphery lab assistance.

I am a born and raised Tucsonan with Colombian and Norwegian parents and like to go hiking and do yoga.  I have 2 hairless cats named Finneus and Cleocatra and love to take them out for walks and sunbathing.  My favorite color is blue and my favorite place is Cartagena, Colombia.

Starting January 2017, I will be continuing my education as a graduate student in Applied Sciences: Diagnostic Laboratory Sciences at the University of Arizona.
