Brandon David - Undergraduate Researcher
I am a undergraduate student majoring in Neuroscience with an emphasis in neurobiology. I joined the Beilstein lab in January of 2017. I work on a project studying the telomerase RNA subunit (TER) and the telomerase protein (TERT). The goal of the project is to find the DNA sequence specific to TER in plants.
Outside of lab, I am an active member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and currently serve as the scholarship chairman. My fraternity is partnered with the ALS Foundation; we hold annual philanthropy events with all proceeds going to the foundation, and work as volunteers in the Tucson Walk to Defeat ALS. In my free time I enjoy fishing, skiing, watching sports, reading, and astronomy.
